Lesotho's national boxing coach Thabiso Nketu is confident that the country's two representatives, Rapelang Meselela and Monaheng Khebe, are ready to compete at the inaugural World Boxing Africa Championships in Nairobi, Kenya, which began on Thursday and runs until 28 October. Both boxers are pursuing qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games through Olympic Solidarity scholarships, with Meselela coming off a bronze medal win at the Commonwealth Games in August and Khebe recently winning gold at a tournament in South Africa's Eastern Cape.
