Mahlala vows to tackle rampant unemployment
Basotho Development Front leader Bothata Mahlala argues that Lesotho should reduce unemployment by exploiting domestic resources and competitive advantages rather than relying on foreign markets and AGOA extensions. Mahlala criticizes the current government for corruption, nepotism in tender allocation, and the ineffectiveness of anti-corruption institutions, while proposing alternative economic strategies including textile production for regional markets, agricultural development, water bottling, and tourism.
