Lehlohonolo Selate, an alleged mastermind of a M50 million fraud from the Lesotho Ministry of Finance, has been arrested in South Africa and is detained at Kroonstad Prison awaiting trial on money-laundering charges. Selate is challenging two warrants of arrest issued by the Maseru Magistrates Court, claiming they were unlawfully obtained and are preventing his release on bail in South Africa by underpinning an extradition application.
