Scaling AI agents with trustworthy data

A Google-commissioned report surveying 300 data and technology executives finds that legacy data systems are limiting the effectiveness of AI agents in enterprises, with most organizations providing AI access to only 45% of company data. Organizations designated as 'data leaders' that provide over 70% data access report significantly higher trust in agent decisions, faster scaling, and fewer legacy system constraints compared to 'data laggards' where only 30% or less of data is accessible.
