Rape victim bemoans court ill-treatment
A Mohale's Hoek woman has filed a High Court application challenging a Thaba-Tseka magistrate's decision to grant bail to a man accused of sexual assault, alleging she was given only two minutes to oppose bail and was repeatedly interrupted during the hearing. The complainant claims the proceedings were procedurally irregular, rushed, and failed to allow her to present evidence of the accused's alleged threats and pattern of harassment.
