MP takes M1.5 million “bogus” mansion deal to court
A Democratic Congress Member of Parliament, Mokherane Tsatsanyane, has taken a case to the High Court's Commercial Division demanding M700,000 in refunds from financial consultant Limpho Tšenoli for a failed M1.5 million property purchase in Maseru East that was mortgaged to a bank. The dispute stems from a 2017 property transaction where Tsatsanyane claims to have paid M700,000 towards the purchase before discovering the house was already declared specially executable by Standard Lesotho Bank.
