Mofolo guilty of Khetheng murder

Senior Inspector Mathibeli Mofolo has been convicted of the murder of Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng, who disappeared after being taken into police custody on 26 March 2016 and was found dead in a remote gorge the following day. Former Hlotse Police Station commander Senior Superintendent Thabo Tšukulu was convicted of being an accessory after the fact to murder for his role in covering up the killing, while Inspector Mabitle Matona and Sub-Inspector Haleokoe Taasoane were acquitted and released.
