Matekane faces contempt of court charge

Prime Minister Sam Matekane faces a possible contempt of court charge for allegedly failing to comply with a Constitutional Court interim order allowing Ombudsman Advocate Tlotliso Polaki to remain in office beyond her contract expiry. The opposition has withdrawn from the reforms process, citing the government's failure to observe court orders and has lodged concerns with SADC.
