Lesotho makes history

Lesotho has become the first country in Africa to validate a Data Value Creation Blueprint, marking a milestone in the Kingdom's digital transformation agenda. The validation workshop, convened by the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation in collaboration with Smart Africa and GIZ, assessed the country's readiness for a data-driven economy and identified priority gaps across governance, infrastructure, skills, and data quality.
